Key Components of a Film Trailer

The key components of any film trailer are the codes and conventions within it.
Words you see are; the title of the film, the producers, famous actors and/or director.
Sounds you hear are; the voiceover, sound effects and added music.
The basic plot of the film is usually told but sometimes is also kept a mystery.
Shots of the film are either shown in short vague segments or showing a long clip to entice the audience in to watch the rest and to keep the mystery of the films content still hidden.

  1. Tyler this section heeds to be supported by an analysis of 2 trailers. 1 of which should be from your chosen genre. The examiner will need to be able to see how your research into trailers has informed your planning. I can give you an analysis grid if you wish.
